UCrest's iMedic app to be deployed in Mediprima clinics


KUALA LUMPUR: Ucrest Bhd has entered into a partnership with Mediprima Healthcare (M) Sdn Bhd to digitalise clinics and integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) into the latter firm's medical services.

In a statement, UCrest said Mediprima, which operates the Poliklinik Mediprima primary care clinic chain in Malaysia, will deploy iMedic in all 18 of its clinics to offer telemedicine, preventive care programmes,

chronic disease management, and robust digital health screening programmes.

The group said the collaboration is expected to contribute positively to Mediprima’s expansion plan.

"The synergy is strategic and instrumental in elevating the primary care services from reactive medical service to proactive management of the health of patients.

"With the use of technologies in healthcare, healthcare service providers are able to improve productivity significantly and to provide more affordable services nationwide easily," said UCrest.
