Epicon gets RM191mil building job


PETALING JAYA: Epicon Bhd has received a letter of award from Maju Teluk Batik Sdn Bhd for building works to two apartments in Bandar Meru Raya, Perak worth RM191.13mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Epicon said the building works will be to apartments A and D, one carpark building, ancillary building, mechanical and electrical services, infrastructure and landscape works for a mixed development.

“The contract period is 36 months, which is expected to commence on March 19, 2024 and be completed on March 18, 2027.

“With the awarding of this new contract, the total outstanding order book of the company has increased to RM840mil from RM649mil as at Dec 31, 2023,” it said.
