MN Holdings unit secures RM17.6mil TNB contract


KUALA LUMPUR: MN Holdings Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary MN Power Transmission Sdn Bhd has secured a RM17.6mil contract for the supply and commissioning of the transmission main intake 275/132kV Pasir Gudang Power Station Extension (2x275kV Overhead Lines (OHL) Bays) in Johor from Tenaga Nasional Bhd.

In a bourse filing, the group said it has undertaken to establish a new extension of two units of 275kV OHL Bays Permas Jaya and the replacement of two existing units of 275kV OHL Bays Pasir Gudang Power Station North at the existing Air Insulated Switchgear substation PMU Pasir Gudang Power Station.

The contract is effective from April 2, 2024, and will be completed 730 days from the commencement date.

"The contract is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings and earnings per share of the company," it said.
