Kitacon secures RM134.8mil building contract from Tropicana Alam


KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Kitacon Bhd has via its wholly-owned subsidiary Kitacon Sdn Bhd accepted a job from Tropicana Alam Sdn Bhd for buildings works worth a sum of RM134.8mil.

In a statement, the builder said the construction job includes the completion of 399 double-storey terrace houses measuring 20x70ft, 32 double-storey terrace houses measuring 22x70ft and three Tenaga Nasional substations (double chamber) in Ijok, in Kuala Selangor, Selangor.

The contract will commence on April 18, 2024, and will be completed within 22 months.

"The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets per share of Kumpulan Kitacon Berhad for the financial years ending 31 December 2024 onwards until the expiry of the contract," said Kitacon.
