Sikh Shamsul is new Mida CEO

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Investment Development Authority (Mida) has appointed Sikh Shamsul Ibrahim Sikh Abdul Majid as its new chief executive officer effective tomorrow.

Shamsul, who has served Mida for 28 years, will succeed Datuk Wira Arham Abdul Rahman, who is set to retire from public service today.

An economics graduate from Universiti Malaya, Shamsul has occupied various significant leadership roles in Mida, including executive director for manufacturing development and investment promotion, and recently, senior executive director of investment policy advocacy.
