Microlink wins RM56.45mil contract from Bank Islam Brunei


KUALA LUMPUR: Microlink Solutions Bhd has secured a RM56.45mil contract from Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam Bhd (BIBD) for a project to implement and maintain a new core banking system for the latter.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Microlink said its wholly-owned subsidiary, Microlink Systems Sdn Bhd entered into software supply, services and maintenance agreements with BIBD.

It said the project is for a period of six years with one year of implementation and five years for maintenance and support, commencing from 24 April 2024.

Microlink expects the contract to contribute positively to its revenue, earnings per share and net assets per share for the financial year ending March 31, 2025.
