Jiankun expects GDV of its projects to soar to RM2bil under new leadership

KUALA LUMPUR: Jiankun International Bhd anticipates that the gross development value (GDV) of the group’s projects will soar to RM2 billion under the leadership of its newly appointed chairman Datuk Saiful Nizam Mohd Yusoff, effective May 10.

Currently, the group has five projects, namely the redevelopment of Jalan Tun Razak flats with a GDV of RM1.2 billion, Residensi Maya serviced apartments in Kajang (RM267 million), Taman Panchor Jaya two-storey terrace houses in Nibong Tebal, Seberang Prai Selatan (RM73 million), Bukit Tambun serviced apartments in Simpang Ampat, Seberang Prai Selatan (RM200 million-RM220 million) and a project in Klebang in Melaka (RM190 million-RM200 million).

In a statement today, executive director and chief executive officer Edwin Silvester Das said the group’s commitment extends beyond profitability; all its endeavours prioritise environmental sustainability, green practices, and affordability for the benefit of homeowners.

"For instance, Taman Panchor Jaya, a pioneering freehold project adjacent to the mature township of Nibong Tebal, stands as a testament to innovation, incorporating solar panels during construction.

"The pricing for these 116 double-storey terrace houses is expected to be so competitive that serious enquiries have already surpassed the available units by a ratio of 2:1, against the backdrop of land scarcity in Penang and rising demand for gated communities,” he said. - Bernama
