MBSB Bank CEO Nor Azam M. Taib to step down

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Building Society Bhd (MBSB) has announced that Datuk Nor Azam M. Taib, the chief executive officer of MBSB Bank Bhd (MBSB Bank), will step down on June 30, 2024.

Nor Azam joined MBSB in November 2010 and undertook the role of chief business officer in 2018 before being appointed as MBSB Bank’s chief executive officer in July 2022.

“My time at MBSB Bank has been both rewarding and enriching as I have had the opportunity to contribute to the bank's significant milestones. As I embark on new endeavours, I extend my heartfelt thanks to the board members, senior leadership, and employees for the invaluable experiences, and I wish the team continued success,” Nor Azam said in a statement.

MBSB said Nor Azam’s successor will be announced in due course.
