Paragon Union’s recycling play shapes up


With Metahub in the fold, Paragon Union will move upstream.

MORE light has been shed on what is shaping up at Paragon Union Bhd, a smallish company that Koon Hoi Chun, a member of the Koon family from Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Bhd, bought into back in 2021.

This week, Paragon Union said that it is proposing to buy a 51% stake in a Johor-based recycling firm called Metahub Industries Sdn Bhd for RM51mil, all to be paid via the issuance of Paragon Union shares.
