Sunview bags RM51.9mil LSSPV construction contract


KUALA LUMPUR: Sunview Group Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary, Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM51.9mil contract from Cenergi Solar Kuala Ketil Sdn Bhd for the construction of a large scale solar photovoltaic (LSSPV) plant under the corporate green power programme in Ladang Bukit Selarong, Tawar, in Kuala Ketil, Kedah.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said the LSSPV plant will have a capacity of 44.99 MWp/29.99 MWac.

The contract will commence on June 10, 2024 and the project is expected to achieve commercial operations date by June 24, 2025, at the latest.

"Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the Project is expected to contribute positively towards the future earnings of Sunview and its subsidiaries for the duration of the project," said Sunview.
