PETALING JAYA: Sunway Property has achieved a 95% take-up rate for the third phase of Sunway Aviana in Johor, within a month of its launch.
In a statement, Sunway Property, which is the property division of Sunway Group, said the milestone follows the development's earlier successes.
“The first two phases, comprising 259 units launched in the fourth quarter of 2023, were fully sold out, underscoring the appeal and demand for this exceptional residential project.
Nestled in the Parkview precinct of the integrated Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, Sunway Aviana Residence is designed as a botanical paradise catering to multigenerational living.
Spanning across 22.18 acres of freehold land, Sunway Aviana has a gross development value of RM296mil.
In the same statement, Sunway Property's southern region chief executive officer Gerard Soosay said he has seen interest accelerate for the real estate market in Johor, especially given proposed initiatives including the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone and upcoming Rapid Transit System Link.
“Given these strong growth prospects, we are investing further into this township and are currently developing an RM8bil logistics facility with Equalbase in the first fully carbon-neutral free commercial zone.
“As the master community developer, it is also within our DNA to include world-class facilities from education, to healthcare, to hospitality, all built, owned and operated by Sunway.”
Gerard believes this was why Sunway Aviana received great responses from homebuyers in both Malaysia and Singapore.
“With these ongoing developments across the township, we are confident that our upcoming properties, including the first freehold landed project in Sunway City Iskandar Puteri, will also do well during its launch later this year.”
Sunway Aviana is located just a kilometre away from Sunway Hotel Big Box, Sunway Big Box Retail Park, Wisma Sunway Big Box, and X Park.
Additional nearby amenities include SJK(C) Cheah Fah, Sunway International School, Sunway Citrine Hub, Sunway Boulevard 88, Caltex, Starbucks, and Horse X Park.
The development is five kilometres from Singapore via the Coastal Highway Southern Link.
