KUALA LUMPUR: Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB)’s wholly-owned unit trust management company, Amanah Saham Nasional Bhd (ASNB), has announced the income distribution for Amanah Saham Bumiputera 3 - Didik (ASB 3 Didik) for the financial year ending June 30.
ASB 3 Didik has declared a total income distribution payout of RM405.65mil, equivalent to 5.25 sen per unit for 325,026 unitholders who currently own 7.73 billion units.
In a statement, PNB said the income distribution of ASB 3 Didik translated to total returns of 5.25% outperforming its benchmark Maybank 12-month fixed deposit of 2.74% by 251 basis points.
As of June 25, ASB 3 Didik recorded a net realised income of RM437.76mil.
The income for the fund was derived from realised gains, dividends, and other revenue sources from both domestic and international investments.
It said equities remain the largest contributors to income, with domestic equities constituting 11.81% of the total return and international equities accounting for 3.64% of the overall portfolio.
