SSF Home 4Q revenue rises 34%

PETALING JAYA: SSF Home Group Bhd reported a profit after tax of RM6.2mil in the fourth quarter ended April 30, 2024 (4Q24), which increased by more than three-fold from the immediate preceding quarter.

The furniture retailer’s revenue rose by 34.1% to RM50.6mil in the quarter as compared to RM37.7mil in 3Q24.

“The higher revenue was mainly due to higher sales contribution from retail outlets as a result of seasonal period such as Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri,” SSF Home in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

For the full financial year, SSF Home recorded a profit after tax of RM7.2mil against a revenue of RM158.9mil.

“The group’s focus on expanding its presence continues through its expansion plans, aimed at opening more retail outlets in various towns and cities across Malaysia,” it said.
