Jentayu Sustainables tumbles 24%, short selling suspended


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia has suspended the short selling of Jentayu Sustainables Bhd's shares for the rest of the day.

The energy solutions provider fell 20.5 sen, or 24.4% to 63.5 sen with 9.38 million shares traded at midday. The counter has fallen 29% in the last five trading sessions.

Bursa Malaysia said the suspension was triggered after the counter dropped more than 15% or 15 sen from its reference price.

“The short selling under intraday short selling (IDSS) will only be activated the following trading day, July 3 at 08:30 am,” it said.
