INSAP organises 2024 Economic Forum for Malaysian growth

KUALA LUMPUR: The Institute of Strategic Analysis and Policy Research (INSAP), in collaboration with Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT), is organising the 2024 INSAP Economic Forum (IEF2024).

The forum will take place on July 12, 2024, at the UTAR Bandar Sungai Long Campus from 8 am to 5 pm.

In a statement, INSAP said the forum serves as a platform for national dialogue, uniting the country's top economists, policymakers, industry leaders, and academics to tackle critical economic issues and plan for sustainable growth and development.

The mission of IEF2024 is to conduct a thorough analysis of the current economic state, identify the challenges and opportunities ahead, and formulate strategic recommendations for the Malaysian Budget 2025.

“This gathering aims to foster a deep and nuanced understanding of economic trends and policies, ultimately contributing to the nation's prosperity and resilience,” it said.

INSAP chairman Datuk Dr. Pamela Yong said the IEF2024 is an essential platform for fostering dialogue on the future of Malaysia’s economy.

“By bringing together diverse perspectives, we aim to develop actionable insights and strategies that will contribute to a robust and resilient economic framework for our nation.”
