KUALA LUMPUR: The World Sikh Chamber of Commerce Malaysia (WSCCM) partnered with the Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia (IRBM) for the first e-invoicing talk for Sikh businesses, empowering them with digital tools and government support.
The event, held at APU, drew a diverse group of participants keen to learn about implementing e-invoicing and its benefits.
IRBM tax operations director Dr. Rasyidah Che Rosli, who led the session, provided insights into the legal framework, practical applications, and support systems available for a smooth transition.
"The adoption of e-invoicing is not just a compliance measure but a strategic move towards embracing digital technology that can drive business growth and sustainability," WSCCM president Jalbir Singh Riar said in a statement.
WSCCM said the interactive session offered guidance on integrating e-invoicing with existing software and addressed data security concerns.
The WSCCM and IRBM plan to host more events to support the business community's digital transformation. This partnership sets a precedent for future collaborations, empowering businesses in the digital age.
