Keyfield wins RM40mil O&G contracts

PETALING JAYA: Keyfield International Bhd has accepted two letters of award on May 13, 2024 and May 17, 2024 via its wholly-owned subsidiary, Keyfield Offshore Sdn Bhd, from Hess Exploration and Production Malaysia B.V.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the oil and gas (O&G) offshore accommodation vessel provider said both contracts had commenced in June and July this year and are for the provision of one unit of accommodation work barge (AWB) and one unit of anchor-handling tug supply (AHTS) for Hess’ offshore activities.

The contract is worth RM40mil in aggregate and will be for the charter period of five months and six months, respectively.

“Keyfield shall provide one unit of AWB and one unit of AHTS, respectively, with crew and on-board services to perform the agreed scope of works to meet the charterer’s requirements,” it said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
