PETALING JAYA: SNS Network Technology Bhd has signed a partnership agreement with Healthcare Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS) to become the latter’s first HIMSS digital health technology partner in Malaysia.

In a statement, SNS – an information and communications technology system and solutions provider – noted the venture will be undertaken via its wholly owned unit, SNS Network (M) Sdn Bhd.

The unit will deploy digital health tools and resources developed by HIMSS such as the electronic medical record adoption model throughout the country.

SNS added the partnership with HIMSS will enable it to strengthen its customer base to the healthcare industry.

The Health Ministry plans to implement the digital transformation of healthcare at all health facilities nationwide within the next four to five years, SNS stated.
