KUALA LUMPUR: BOS Wealth Management Malaysia Bhd (BOSWM) is expanding its investment offerings in Malaysia by partnering with OCBC Bank (M) Bhd (OCBC Bank), aiming to reach both individual and corporate clients across the wealth market.

The investment management firm said it is doing so by creating an open architecture investment products platform for Malaysians to tap on.

The partnership will see OCBC Bank distributing the first of these funds beginning this month to provide investors with institutional-quality fixed income opportunities in government bonds, investment-grade, and high-yield corporate bonds. More funds will be added on in due course.

“BOSWM’s open architecture product platform offers access to a wide

range of sustainability and Shariah-compliant investment choices for individuals and corporations. We are confident OCBC Malaysia’s customers will warm up to what we have to offer,” BOSWM chief executive officer Najmuddin Mohd Lutfi said in a statement.

Meanwhile, OCBC Bank managing director and head of consumer financial services Anne Leh said the partnership goes well beyond a developer-distributor arrangement.

“It is the epitome of seamlessness where two related entities come together to make sustainable investments easily accessible to a far wider pool of people than would otherwise be possible. We believe our customers will quickly warm up to the innovative investment solutions that we are confident will meet their evolving needs,” she added.

BOSWM is a holder of Capital Markets and Services Licence issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia.
