Maybank reassures systems remain secure amid alleged database leakage claims

KUALA LUMPUR: Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) has reassured that its systems remain secure and all its customers' information is fully protected amid alleged claims that its Maybank2u database was published on a dark web forum.

"Nevertheless, we take these security concerns very seriously and continue to monitor and ensure our data is protected at all times," it said on its official social media platform, X, formerly Twitter today.
