MAHB appoints new MD, CFO

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) has appointed Datuk Mohd Izani Ghani, 56, as its managing director (MD) from Aug 1.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MAHB said it had also appointed Zeid Abdul Razak, 43, as its chief financial officer (CFO) from Aug 1.

The appointments come following the resignation of MAHB’s group CFO and acting group chief executive officer, Mohmed Rastam Shahrom, who has been appointed RHB Banking Group’s group CFO.

Mohd Izani was appointed as executive director of UEM Group Bhd on Jan 1, 2019 and later redesignated as MD on Aug 1, 2019.

He has over 30 years of investment and management experience and prior to joining the UEM Group, he was the executive director, investments, of Khazanah Nasional Bhd.

Meanwhile, Zeid has been with MAHB since 2014, serving in various roles including regulatory economics, investor relations, finance business partner and treasury.
