Watsons appoints Caryn Loh as COO of Health and Beauty Asia

KUALA LUMPUR: Watsons has appointed Caryn Loh as chief operating officer of Health and Beauty Asia, effective August 1, in addition to her current role as managing director of Watsons Malaysia.

In a statement, Watsons said that in her new role, Loh will oversee both Watsons Malaysia and Watsons Taiwan, develop strategies to enhance the region’s leadership in the beauty category, and continue leading the regional exclusives strategy.

Loh joined Watsons Malaysia in 2004 and has held various leadership roles. She was appointed as Watsons International exclusives director in October last year.

Danny HohDanny HohMeanwhile, Danny Hoh has been promoted to chief operating officer, effective Aug 1, and will report directly to Loh.

In his new role, he will oversee the marketing portfolio, as well as trading and online business.

Hoh joined the company in 2013 and has held various leadership positions, including general manager since last year, has significantly driven growth and enhanced the brand’s value.
