Sasbadi wins RM12mil govt contract


PETALING JAYA: Sasbadi Holdings Bhd has accepted two letters of acceptance from the Education Ministry (MoE) totalling RM11.7mil to supply reprinted textbooks.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Sasbadi said its wholly owned subsidiary, Sasbadi Sdn Bhd (SSB), had accepted a letter of acceptance from the MoE worth RM6.89mil to supply reprinted textbooks to schools under the MoE from Year 2024 – Package 15.

Additionally, Sasbadi said its indirectly-owned subsidiary, The Malaya Press Sdn Bhd (TMP), had accepted a letter of acceptance from the MoE to supply reprinted textbooks to schools under the MoE from Year 2024 – Package 18, worth RM4.82mil.

The contracts are from Aug 5, 2024 to Aug 4, 2026. SSB and TMP are to deliver the first tranche worth RM5.85mil to schools in the first quarter of the financial year ending Aug 31, 2025.
