Dayang bags PETRONAS Carigali OSV job

PETALING JAYA: PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd has appointed DESB Marine Services Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd, as one of its panel contractors for offshore support vessel (OSV) services.

In a filling with Bursa Malaysia, Dayang stated the panel contractor contract was for a duration of three years, where it will provide support services for petroleum arrangement contractors under PETRONAS Carigali.

No specific contract values were disclosed, but Dayang said the development is expected to contribute to its earnings over the duration of the contract.

In February, DESB Marine was awarded a contract extension for the provision of three accommodation work boats by PETRONAS Carigali for a period ranging from 279 days to 296 days.

Dayang is expected to report its second-quarter results for 2024 on Aug 22.
