LKL to explore hospital furniture manufacturing in Philippines

KUALA LUMPUR: LKL International Bhd has struck a deal with Philippines-based healthcare solutions provider Karl Group to explore the manufacturing of hospital furniture and investment opportunities in the country.

LKL said in a stock exchange filing its role in the agreement would be to provide technical expertise and technology for hospital furniture manufacturing, supporting training and capacity building, and assisting in identifying potential investors and financial support.

The parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), which will be valid for 12 months from the date of the signing.

LKL said the collaboration presents an opportunity to further solidify and expand its existing business operations in the Philippines.

"With a foothold already established in the region, LKL sees this partnership as a strategic move to enhance its market presence and meet the growing demand for quality hospital furniture and healthcare solutions.

"The MoU underscores LKL's commitment to deepening its footprint in the Philippines and driving mutual growth in the region's healthcare infrastructure," it said.
