T7 Global's TSeven Shirley Mopu achieves first oil in Nong Yao field


KUALA LUMPUR: Enrgy solutions provider T7 Global Bhd announced its wholly-owned TSeven Shirley mobile offshore production unit (Mopu) has acheived its first oil production for the Nong Yao field, in the southern part of the Gulf of Thailand.

In a statement, group CEO Tan Kay Zhuin said the achievement ensures a steady stream of recurring revenue for the next five years, with options to extend.

"With 2 Mopus now fully operating, we are enhancing the Group’s financial performance. We will continue to explore opportunities in the MOPU sector as there is increasing demand for this type of application," he said.

He added that the project was completed with 1.3 million man hours clocked during the conversion and commissioning of the Mopu with zero lost time injuries.
