Bursa suspends short-selling of Notion Vtec's shares


KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia has suspended intraday short-selling (IDSS) for Notion VTEC Bhd (0083) for the second time in a week due to breaches of the price limit.

In a special announcement, the exchange said the stock was suspended for the rest of the day after Notion’s shares dropped more than 15 per cent from the reference price.

It said short-selling for Notion under the IDSS will resume on Aug 28, 2024 at 08.30 am.

At 15.33 pm, Notion’s share price fell 16.67 per cent to 90 sen, with 58.28 million shares traded. - Bernama
