T7 Global bags RM75mil govt contract


KUALA LUMPUR: T7 Global Bhd’s subsidiary T7 Kemuncak Sdn Bhd has secured a contract worth RM74.6mil from the Defence Ministry.

In a statement, the group said it will be responsible for supplying, delivering, testing and commissioning an airfield surveillance radar (ASR) system, communication system and associated air traffic management system equipment to the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) and the government.

The contract is for a period of five years from Aug 5, 2024 to Aug 4, 2029.

“This showcases our capability to come up with an integrated solution for RMAF, which includes a high-performance air surveillance radar system to ensure continued safety, reliability and enhanced efficiency of RMAF’s airfield surveillance capability,” said group chief executive officer Tan Kay Zhuin.

He added that the group is committed to diversifying its income stream and supporting sustainable growth.
