Tex Cycle partners with BiobiN and Peats Group for advanced waste management solutions

KUALA LUMPUR: Tex Cycle Technology (M) Bhd has announced a new license manufacture and distribution agreement involving its subsidiary, Ground Control Sdn Bhd, along with BiobiN Technologies Pty Ltd and Peats Group Limited.

In a statement, the waste management and recycling solutions provider said the collaboration aims to boost Tex Cycle’s capabilities in advanced waste management technologies by integrating BiobiN systems, developed by BiobiN Technologies and Peats Group.

Under the agreement, Ground Control is granted the rights to manufacture and distribute BiobiN systems within Malaysia, targeting improvements in waste conditioning in a closed environment. This initiative is expected to significantly impact sustainable waste management practices, offering efficient solutions that align with global environmental standards.

Peats Group, a leader in organic recycling for over 50 years, transforms green waste into premium compost, soil, and mulch using advanced technologies like BiobiN.

BiobiN is a mobile system that composts organic and wet waste on-site, efficiently managing and reducing odours.

Tex Cycle group chief executive officer Gary Dass Anthony Francis said the collaboration will significantly boost Tex Cycle’s capabilities in innovative waste management solutions, enabling the group to achieve greater efficiency and sustainability in its operations.

“The introduction of the BiobiN technology is expected to expand our customer base as it meets the growing demand among corporate and business owners for sustainable disposal solutions.

“We are immensely grateful for the exceptional support from local authorities and regulatory bodies, who have played a crucial role in facilitating this initiative. Their involvement has been pivotal, effectively making them integral members of our project team,” he added.
