Duopharma Biotech MD inks new employment agreement

KUALA LUMUR: Duopharma Biotech Bhd has announced that Leonard Ariff Abdul Shatar will remain its group managing director following the expiry of his employment agreement in December 2024.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the group said under the terms of a new employment agreement, Leonard will continue serving in his current role until Dec 31, 2025.

"The board also wishes to inform that the company has developed a succession plan in relation to the group managing director's role and is progressing under the stewardship of the company's nomination and remuneration committee so as to facilitate a smooth and effective chief executive leadership transition for the company in due course," it said.
