Trading ideas: ITMAX, KJTS, EPB, Industronics, Apollo Food, Pharmaniaga


KUALA LUMPUR: ITMax System Bhd, KJTS Group Bhd, EPB Group Bhd, Industronics Bhd, Apollo Food Holdings Bhd and Pharmaniaga Bhd are among the stocks to watch on Tuesday.

ITMAX has been appointed by the Segamat Municipal Council (MPS) to operate 7,637 street parking in Johor's Segamat district for 15 years.

KJTS Group has secured a contract worth RM23.8mil for sub-contract work for a data centre in Sedenak Tech Park, Johor.

EPB Group is acquiring a piece of industrial land at Plot P23B, Penang Science Park North measuring 7.8 acres from Penang Development Corp for RM22.5mil.

Industronics is disposing of 1,382 sq metres of freehold land in Kajang, Selangor to People and Global Sdn Bhd for RM7mil.

Apollo Food’s net profit rose to RM9.68mil in the first quarter ended July 31 from RM7.64mil in the previous corresponding period, mainly due to higher domestic and export sales in the current quarter.

Pharmaniaga announced that Messrs. PricewaterhouseCoopers PLT (PwC) has resigned as its external auditor, following a written notice served to the group on Sept 20. It has appointed Ernst & Young as its auditor for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2024.

Overnight, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.15% to 42,124.65, the S&P 500 rose 0.28% to 5,718.57 and the Nasdaq Composite rose 0.14% to 17,974.27.
