Critical Holdings bags RM82mil US contract

PETALING JAYA: Critical Holdings Bhd has secured a contract from a US-based multinational company worth RM82mil for mechanical and electrical related fit-out, cleanroom and interior design works for a new three-storey office building, one-storey production and warehouse facilitation at Pasir Gudang, Johor Baru.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the mechanical, electrical and process utilities design and engineering solutions provider said the contract is expected to be completed over a 16-week period and is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the company for the financial year ending June 30, 2025.

Critical Holdings executive director and chief executive officer Tan Si Lim said the award represented the largest single contract the group has won to date and was one of the several other larger tenders that the company had participated in.

“It also solidifies our standing as a ‘go-to’ MEP solutions provider in the cleanroom, plant room and data centre space.

“Furthermore, this contract win is in line with our strategy of expanding our presence down south where there are many new opportunities and investments arising. With this contract in hand, our order book will stand at roughly RM204mil,” said Tan.
