Perdana wins two charters from Dayang


PETALING JAYA: Perdana Petroleum Bhd has accepted a work order award from Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd to charter two accommodation workboats (AWB).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Perdana Petroleum said the first AWB contract will involve a duration of 153 days, adding that the estimated value of the vessel is worth RM13.3mil.

Meanwhile, the second AWB contract will be for a duration of 61 days, with the estimated value of the vessel being RM5.8mil.

Perdana Petroleum said both contracts commenced on Aug 1, 2024.

The company said it will provide the AWBs with crews and equipment for 24-hour services assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installations, derrick barges, towing and anchor jobs.

“The vessel charters are recurrent related-party transactions, which the company has obtained a mandate from shareholders at its AGM on May 21, 2024, for the amount of RM100mil.” the company said.
