UUE records 10.5% revenue growth for 2Q25

KUALA LUMPUR: UUE Holdings Bhd saw its net profit increasing by 21.2% quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) to RM6.7mil for its second quarter of the financial year ending Feb 28, 2025.

Revenue was driven mainly by its manufacturing and trading of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes segment.

“We are pleased to announce our robust financial performance highlights the success of our vertical integration strategy. The combination of in-house manufacturing of HDPE pipes with our expertise in underground utilities engineering gives us a unique competitive advantage while supporting Malaysia’s rapid transition towards a more connected and sustainable future," UUE managing director Datuk Ting Kok Hwa said in a statement.

"This integration allows us to offer end-to-end solutions, providing both cost efficiency and quality assurance to our clients,” he added.

For the quarter under review, its revenue grew 10.5% QoQ to RM43mil, driven by the underground utilities engineering solution segment’s 5.4% revenue growth and a 42.1% revenue growth recorded by its manufacturing and trading of HDPE pipes segment.

The company said improved results were largely attributed to the robust pipeline of UUE’s infrastructure projects currently in progress.

UUE was recently listed on the ACE Market in July 2024.
