KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysia External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade) has appointed Datin Nooryana Najwa Najib, the daughter of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, to the board of directors, said chairman Datuk Seri Reezal Merican Naina Merican.

He made the announcement in a Facebook post late on Tuesday.

“I delivered the Matrade board of directors' letter of appointment to Nooryana and witnessed her swearing an anti-bribery oath with two other directors, Datuk Hairil Yahri Yaacob and Dr Mastura Abdul Karim," said Reezal Merican.
