AWC wins RM31mil project in Johor


PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd has accepted a letter of award from KJC Engineering Sdn Bhd for housekeeping services at JB Sentral in Johor Baru worth RM30.51mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, AWC said the contract period would be 54 months commencing from Oct 1, 2024 to March 31, 2029.

“The potential risks involved in this contract are considered normal operational risks, and are the same with all our maintenance projects undertaken.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the AWC group over the duration of the contract,” it said.

According to AWC, none of its directors, major shareholders and/or persons connected with them has any interest, whether direct or indirect, in the contract.
