Betamek, Perodua showcase telematics solutions

KUALA LUMPUR: Betamek Bhd, in collaboration with Perodua, showcased its telematics solutions at the Daihatisu Motor Co Ltd exhibition in Osaka, Japan.

In a statement, it said it highlighted the advanced telematics system, co-developed with Perodua, featuring Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates, enabling vehicles to receive the latest enhancements without needing physical service centre visits.

It said this ensures that the vehicle’s systems remain optimised and up to date, improving both performance and user convenience.

"From remote vehicle management to real-time tracking, these innovations enhance safety, convenience, and performance.

"The ability to receive updates wirelessly through OTA technology ensures vehicles remain at the

cutting edge without any hassle," said Betamek executive director Muhammad Fauzi Abd Ghani.
