DXN quarterly earnings at RM66mil

PETALING JAYA: DXN Holdings Bhd recorded a net profit for its second financial quarter (2Q24) ended Aug 31, 2024 – a 13.2% drop year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM66mil, despite higher revenue at RM488.4mil.

For the six months ended Aug 31, net earnings dipped 1.4% to RM151.5mil as turnover grew 9.2% y-o-y to RM963.5mil.The company attributed the decrease in net profit for the quarter and the half-year to higher foreign exchange losses resulting from the strengthening of the ringgit against the US dollar and increased employee benefit as well as higher shipping costs.

DXN Holdings pointed out that it is well-positioned for continued success in the next financial year, leveraging its strong performance this year as well as strategic expansion plans to drive growth and success.
