Bina Puri gets RM113mil water pipeline project

PETALING JAYA: Bina Puri Holdings Bhd has accepted a letter of award (LoA) from Tokoh Ilham Sdn Bhd to complete the construction of water pipelines, civil and structure work for the Sarawak Rural Water Supply Department, worth RM113.29mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Bina Puri said the construction period of the project is 29 months and the completion date shall be on April 9, 2027.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the acceptance of the LoA is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings, earnings per share, net assets per share and gearing of the company.

“The acceptance of the LoA will not have any effect on the share capital and the shareholding of the substantial shareholders of the company.”

Bina Puri said it has maintained a strong presence in Sarawak, having completed other landmark projects such as Sarawak State Legislative Assembly and Plaza Merdeka.
