KUALA LUMPUR: Narrowing interest rate differentials between Malaysia and advanced economies are positive for Malaysia's ringgit, despite higher volatility in global markets following the U.S. election, Malaysia's central bank chief said on Thursday.
Datuk Seri Abdul Rasheed Ghaffour, speaking at the launch of a new investment portal, said Bank Negara Malaysia would do what was required to ensure both monetary and financial stability and make the financial market environment conducive for investment and economic activity. - Reuters
