Maxis 3Q24 profit up 28%


The company said it is on course for a strong close to the year.

PETALING JAYA: Higher service revenue as well as prudent cost management saw Maxis Bhd post a 27.5% year-on-year rise in earnings to RM366mil for its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2024 (3Q24).

The telecommunications company stated targeted customer segmentation approach boosted its consumer and enterprise businesses and contributed to a 5.5% rise in revenue to RM2.58bil in the quarter. The company declared a third interim single-tier tax-exempt dividend of four sen per share, payable on Dec 23.
