Bahvest proposes name change to Aumas Resources


KUALA LUMPUR: Bahvest Resources Bhd, a Sabah-based gold mining company, has proposed changing its name to Aumas Resources Bhd.

“The proposed name ‘Aumas Resources Bhd’ was approved by the Companies Commission of Malaysia on Nov 8, 2024 and the reservation for the use of the proposed name is extended to April 7, 2024,” Bahvest said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.

Bahvest said the proposed company name change is subject to shareholder approval at an extraordinary general meeting, which will be scheduled at a later date. A circular with details of the proposed change will be sent to shareholders in due course.
