NIK Nazmi Nik Ahmad may face a tight-fisted or ambiguous response from developed nations as he seeks funding at the 2024 United Nations (UN) Climate Change Conference, or better known as COP29, from Nov 11-22.
Like other representatives from developing countries, Malaysia’s Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability Minister will be pressing for climate financing to meet the commitments set under the 2015 Paris Agreement.
