AWC bags RM48.57mil facilities management contract


PETALING JAYA: AWC Bhd has accepted a letter of award from the Putrajaya Federal Territories Department for facilities management and maintenance service at Menara Seri Wilayah, Putrajaya, worth RM48.57mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the integrated facilities management and engineering services company said the contract period shall be 60 months commencing from Dec 12, 2024 to Dec 11, 2029.

“The potential risks involved in this contract are considered normal operational risks, and are the same with all our maintenance projects undertaken.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the AWC Group over the duration of the contract.”

AWC said the acceptance of the letter of award is in the ordinary course of business and is in the best interest of the company.
