KUALA LUMPUR: Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd remains confident of its goal to reach RM1.3bil of new property sales in financial year 2025 (FY25), driven by a robust pipeline.
Talking to StarBiz, Matrix Concepts property development co-chief executive officer Chai Keng Wai said the group may even slightly surpass the targeted amount.
“Reason being, we have a pipeline of new launches which comprises various products. In fact, the most overwhelming one still goes to our double-storey landed properties in Bandar Sri Sendayan in (Negri Sembilan) – that is our jewel,” he said after the memorandum of agreement (MoA) signing ceremony between Matrix Concepts and WIT Ventures Sdn Bhd (Five Senses) here, yesterday.
Chai added that this is coupled with the new Malaysia Vision Valley City (MVV) in Negri Sembilan, slated to launch in FY26.
He said the planned MVV City development is a major growth catalyst for the group via its joint venture with state-owned NS Corp in Negri Sembilan.
“This landmark development, with an initial estimated gross development value of RM12bil over a 12-year period, will be developed in parallel with the group’s flagship Sendayan Developments.
"We achieved significant success with Sendayan Tech Valley, and most of the industrialists and buyers there have confidence in us and are now following us to invest in Vision Valley Industry Park".
Additionally, Chai stated that in its other markets – namely Klang Valley and Johor – Matrix Concepts is actively on the lookout to acquire new landbank.
“Every year we will be rolling out new projects in the Klang Valley. For Johor, we have a steady market there and we are growing as well, so we will continue to acquire more land in Johor if there is opportunity. Our plate is full, but of course, we do not mind expanding further,” he added.
The MoA celebrates the partnership between Matrix Concepts and Five Senses as it introduced smart concierge services kiosks integrated with the Horosys mobile app within a residential development – namely Levia Residence, Cheras.
Matrix Concepts general manager of Central Region Joshua Liew said the group will be looking to integrate the smart kiosks at other Matrix Concepts properties as well.
“Our journey to integrate advanced technology into our developments is part of our broader vision to redefine urban living in Malaysia.
“From artificial intelligence-powered surveillance to rainwater harvesting systems, we aim to deliver holistic living experiences and are committed to staying ahead of the curve by embracing innovation, sustainability and smart solutions,” he said during his welcoming speech.
The smart kiosks offer controlled access and monitoring, as well as essential offerings such as unit maintenance service, premium shuttle service, dry cleaning service and visitor management service.
It aims to provide residents with convenience and streamlining their daily routines.
Levia Residence, a low-density condominium, was launched by Matrix Concepts earlier this year. The residence carries a gross development value of RM522mil, collectively.
