Meta Bright to collaborate with Tunas Manja on solar PV installations


KUALA LUMPUR: Meta Bright Group Bhd has entered into a strategic partnership with grocery and retail operator Tunas Manja Sdn Bhd for the installation of rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

In a statement, Meta Bright said the the installations will take place at Tunas Manja-owned, leased and operated buildings under the Net Energy Metering (NEM) 3.0 Programme.

The first project under this partnership will commence at Tunas Manja Mart Wisma Air Putih in Kuantan, paving the way for subsequent installations across Tunas Manja's network of stores.

"This initiative reflects our shared commitment to ESG principles and highlights Meta Bright’s growing role in Malaysia’s energy transition.

"With the NEM 3.0 Programme and energy efficiency measures, we aim to deliver long-term value for our partners and the environment," said Meta Bright executive director of corporate and strategic planning Derek Phang Kiew Lim.
