PETALING JAYA: Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd will continue to focus on expanding its construction business as its main revenue-driver.
As of end-September, the group continued to be supported by an outstanding order book of RM4.4bil in terms of construction contracts.
In the third quarter ended Sept 30, Kerjaya Prospek posted a net profit of RM46.09mil, up from RM35.57mil in the same quarter last year, which translated into an earnings per share of 3.65 sen as compared to 2.82 sen.
Revenue, rose to RM504.84mil from RM362.23mil in the comparative quarter.
For the nine-month period, the group’s net profit rose to RM116.73mil from RM96.55mil in the previous corresponding period while revenue increased to RM1.24bil from RM968.75mil.
It declared a third interim dividend of three sen per share, with ex-date on Dec 13 and payable on Dec 20.
