Binastra unit accepts RM327.74mil building contract in KL


KUALA LUMPUR: Binastra Corp Bhd's wholly-owned subsidiary Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd has accepted a RM327.74mil contract for main building and related works from Exsim Bukit Jalil City Sdn Bhd for the proposed development of serviced apartments in Kuala Lumpur.

It said in a stock exchange filing the contract shall commence on Dec 9, 2024, and will be completed 42 months from the commencement date.

The scope of the works include the proposed development of two blocks of 58-storey serviced apartments (wellness living), as well as seven strata shop units and carpark, seven levels of podium parking, two levels of lower ground parking, residents' facilities, electrical substation and guardhouse.

The group said the contract is expected to provide additional income stream over the next five financial years.
