PETALING JAYA: Eco-Shop Marketing Bhd is seeking to list on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia, according to its prospectus exposure filed with the Securities Commission.
The company, primarily involved in retail, namely groceries, general consumer goods, wholesale goods, transportation services and e-commerce, is looking to raise capital through an initial public offering (IPO).
Eco-Shop’s proposed IPO will involve the issuance of 862.14 million shares, representing up to 15% of its enlarged issued share capital.
According to the prospectus, the offering will consist of an offer for sale of up to 515.15 million existing shares and a public issue of 347 million new shares.
An additional institutional offering of up to 675.37 million shares will be made available to both Malaysian and foreign institutional investors, as well as selected investors including Bumiputera investors approved by the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia.
The IPO also includes a retail offering of 186.78 million shares to directors and eligible employees of Eco-Shop and its subsidiaries, persons who have contributed to the success of the company, and the Malaysian public, all available at the retail price.
