GDB wins warehouse job from SimeProp JV

PETALING JAYA: GDB Holdings Bhd has received a design-and-build contract worth RM298mil for a logistics warehouse in Bandar Bukit Raja 2 Industrial Park, Selangor, lifting its total order book value to RM1.4bil.

The two-storey warehouse - named Metrohub 4 - was awarded by SDPLOG 1 (Industrial Asset III) Sdn Bhd (SDPLOG), a joint-venture (JV) of Sime Darby Property Bhd and LOGOS Property to GDB’s unit, its wholly-owned subsidiary Grand Dynamic Builders Sdn Bhd.

The contract represents the second logistics warehouse GDB has been entrusted to build for SDPLOG, following the completion of Metrohub 1 in the same industrial park earlier in August.

GDB said the new contract is slated to commence on Dec 23, 2024 and is scheduled to be completed by Aug 22, 2026.
